Updated October 27, 2026. Hobo King is made by Doved Studio (David Pavlovschii). Write to us at support@dovedstudio.com.
What the game keeps, and why
- Your account. On first launch the app makes a random device id and a secret that sign you in. On Android, Google's Block Store keeps that key on your phone, so a reinstall signs you back in. If you link Game Center on an iPhone or Play Games on Android, we keep that player id so your camp follows you to a new phone. We keep the name you pick for your camp.
- Your camp. Your save: your camp, your hobos, your progress, your raids and your trophies, so the game works on any phone you sign in on and so raids between players are fair.
- What you share with other players. Your friends, your gang, the messages you write in gang chat (the last 200 lines of each gang), your Swap Meet listings, and the reports and blocks you make.
- Your purchases. Apple's signed record of each purchase on an iPhone, or Google Play's record on Android (the transaction or order id, the product and the date), so the right Bottle Caps land once. Apple and Google handle the payment; we never see your card, your Apple Account or your Google Account.
- Your time zone, so daily rewards reset at your midnight.
We use all of it to run the game and nothing else. We never sell it, never share it with data brokers, and never use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Ads
The game shows only rewarded ads, and only when you tap to watch one for a reward. They come from Google AdMob. When an ad loads, Google collects what its ads need: your device's advertising identifier (on an iPhone only if you allow it in Apple's tracking prompt; on Android you reset or delete it under Ads in your phone's settings), an approximate location from your IP address, how you interact with the ad, and diagnostics. Google's policy explains how it uses them: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks you first. You can change your answer to Apple's tracking prompt any time in Settings, Privacy and Security, Tracking. We pass Google your player id and a reward id, so we can check that the reward you earned is real.
What the game never collects
Your real name, your email, your phone number, your contacts, your photos, your precise location, your health data, your browsing history.
Where it lives, and for how long
On Cloudflare's servers, for as long as your account exists. Delete your account from the game (Settings, Delete your account) and we erase your camp, your friends, your gang membership, your messages and your trades at once. Apple and Google keep their own purchase records.
Your choices
Delete your account in the game at any time. Write to support@dovedstudio.com to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, and we answer within 30 days.
Delete your account
In the game, open Settings and tap Delete your account at the bottom. It erases your camp, your friends, your gang membership, your messages and your trades at once, on every phone. Lost the phone or the game? Write to support@dovedstudio.com with your camp's name and your friend code, answer one question about your camp so we know it is yours, and we delete the account within 30 days. We keep only the record of each purchase that tax law asks for, with no account attached.
Children
Hobo King is not made for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child under 13 uses the game, write to us and we delete the account.
Changes
