Terms of use

The house rules

Gang chat, names and the Swap Meet are shared with other players. Keep slurs, hate, harassment, threats, sexual content and spam out of them, and keep links, phone numbers and email addresses out of the talk. Report a message that breaks a rule and block whoever wrote it; reported messages leave your chat at once. We read every report within 24 hours, remove what breaks the rules and ban the players who break them.

Bottle Caps and everything you earn or buy in the game

Bottle Caps, Cans, Junk, Tendies, Copper Wire, hobos, the Stimmy and every other item in the game are a license to use them in Hobo King. They have no cash value, you cannot trade them for money, and they never leave the game. Purchases go through Apple or Google Play, and each handles refunds under its own rules (reportaproblem.apple.com, or Order history in your Google Play account).

The van and its odds

A van drop brings a random hobo. The game shows the odds of every rarity before you spend a single Bottle Cap, and a pity count guarantees an Epic or better within 30 drops and a Legendary within 90. Countries that ban paid random items get no paid van drops.

Every ad in the game is optional: you tap to watch it for a reward. The game never shows an ad on its own.

Fair play

Do not cheat, hack the game or its servers, sell accounts or items, or use bots. We may remove items, reset a camp or close an account that does.
